Trev retired from full time ministry ten years ago. He trained for the
Ministry at Parkin-Wesley College after serving the church in many ways
as a lay person.
After training was completed Trev served in parishes at Burra, Wudinna
and Berri-Barmera. In all of these places he served the wider church on
Pastoral Relations Committees and Standing Committees, including terms
as Chair and Secretary. Other service included I.T.I.M. chaplaincy and
work for Frontier Services. Most postgraduate study has been to support
his gifts in pastoral caring.
After retiring Trev had an extended interim ministry at Darwin Memorial Church,
served the Adelaide (S.A.) and the Top End Emmaus Communities
as a Spiritual Director, including a three year term as the Adelaide Community
Spiritual Director. He has had a term as the Coordinator (with his wife, Ann)
of the Adelaide Support Team for Frontier Services and is currently the Secretary.
Trev is the Padre for the Salisbury R.S.L., the Para Districts Branch of the
National Servicemen‘s Association, and is a pastoral carer at Mawson Lakes Helping
Hand Aged Care.
Trev is a part time chaplain for City Wide Services, (Adelaide City Council). This
work is done on behalf of Pilgrim Church as an area of outreach and a practical
demonstration of new forms of ministry for a city church.
Trev and Ann have always enjoyed sharing their gifts in ministry. In recent
times major involvement has been with Emmaus and Frontier Services Support. They
have six grandchildren and relax by travelling, walking and reading.
