Two recent books on the post secular context
One of the final sessions in this years Festival of Ideas included a panel conversation on the theme, Australia and the Post Secular Society. the background to this emerging theme is explored in two recent UK publications. Post Secular Cities Ed. by Justin Beaumont and Christopher Baker. The second publication, Christiantiy and the New Social Order: A manifesto for a fairer future, by John Atherton, Christopher Baker and John Reader. This book reflects on the changing social context over the last 70 years and takes its cue from the original ground breaking book by William Temple, Christianity and the Social Order. We would would like to hear from anyone interested in a conversation around these two publications.
