Pilgrim Church is a community of people who have centred their Christian
involvement in the heart of the city. As people are not identical, our patterns
of worship are not identical. We offer the following options every Sunday:
8.00am This community celebrates around
the Lord's Table every Sunday morning in the Chapel. It is followed by a
light breakfast in the Lounge at the rear of the Church.
9.30am This contempory service
includes music provided by instrumentalists; lay people share in the preparation
and conduct of worship. The spontaneity of the style appeals to young and old.
There is always something different.
10.30am Morning coffee in the Hall, a
time of fellowship for both 9:30 and 11am communities.
11.00am This service is enriched by a
strong tradition of choral work and organ music. Its emphasis is strongly
liturgical and draws upon the rich heritage of Christian worship through the
ages.
Week day Services
There are two mid-week services of Holy Communion which are held in the Chapel:
on Tuesday at 8 am and Thursday at 12:15 pm, lasting about 35 minutes.
Everyone
is welcome to these services.
